A typical "West" Berliner Italian. This is where "old" West Berlin meets. The location close to Zehlendorf and Dahlem can easily be seen from the audience. The dishes are accordingly common. Fresh fish is just as on the menu as the classics with meat. Special requests are almost always met. Rare complaints will be corrected without hesitation. The service is good, sometimes there is singing - but you can do without that. There is no hidden master tenor working in the restaurant. The wine selection is large and good. The open wines can also be recommended. Nicely furnished inside, but the covered terrace is a better choice for sitting in both summer and winter. There is also a separate smoking area here. The owner has a good knack for his audience, a friendly, non-binding word for everyone, but you feel that you are in good hands. The price level is reasonable, but in the higher range. We like to go to this restaurant often and again and again - for years.

Excellent meals - our food was on the table less than 10 minutes after ordering. Deliciously presented, the lamb on point. The only point of criticism: we would have been happy about the obligatory grappa after payment.

When we got a table dead flies were spread all over the table, served dirty. When we waited and asked for a waiter, we were shouted in an unfriendly way: "Immediately". When the ordered drinks finally came we got bread and olives, the bread was old and hard. We ordered our food and after about 30 minutes we noticed that the table next to us had been given food even though we had a table 15 minutes in front of us. Then another 15 minutes passed and we asked the waiter why that was, whereupon he explained to us that the oven was full of pizza we had to order. When our food FINALLY came after another 10 minutes, we found out that the food was wrong and when asked why the waiter answered the last portion of pasta, the customers who got the food before us got it. (which is strange anyway because noodles are always freshly cooked) We paid for the drinks we had and left. We were still hungry and wasted almost 90 minutes of our lifetime and are so pissed that I am now writing a review to warn others about the restaurant. !!!
